Amelia Bedelia
4 Mayor
Amelia Bedelia
4 Mayor!! by Herman Parish is a very funny story about the
wacky housekeeper who takes everything literally. For instance,
when Mr. Rogers (Amelias boss) tells Amelia that she should
run for the mayors office, Okey-dokey! she says
and off she dashes to City Hall. Similar mix-ups occur throughout
the story. Children simply love the riotous wordplay of
the Amelia Bedelia stories. Cleck below for Educational
Materials.

Anne of Green
Gables
Set in the late
19th century in the small town of Avonlea on Prince Edward
Island, it is the story of Anne Shirley (Taylor Kruse),
a young red-headed orphan. As the show begins, Anne arrives
at the train depot and waits for the elderly Matthew Cuthbert
(Robert Armstrong), to take her home. Matthew and his sister
Marilla (Leah Chandler Mills) are planning on adopting a
child to help with the chores on their farm. The problems
begin as we discover that Matthew and Marilla had ordered
a boy from the orphanage, not a girl. Matthew takes Anne
home anyway and, after some convincing, Anne is allowed
to stay on a trial basis. Anne creates one adventure after
another and certainly brings a new energy to Avonlea.

Dan kamin - The
Illusionist
"The impulse
to reproduce reality with physical action is at least as old
as the cave paintings depicting people imitating animals.
We don't know what those ancient mimes were doing, but we
do know that artists often use illusions not just to reflect
reality, but to comment upon it as well."

Jefferson vs.
Hamilton
Thomas Jefferson
and Alexander Hamilton were two men with much in common, and
much to divide them. They both were passionate about which
course they felt was the correct one for our nation. They
both loved their wives and children deeply, and both died
heavily in debt. Yet it is that which divided them that rings
most clearly through the years.

The Kyrgyz people
have a strong musical and oral storytelling tradition. Until
Russian academics began compiling some of the oral history
for publication in this century, it was merely handed down
through the generations, as would be appropriate for a nomadic

many shapes and varieties with the body made of wood and the
