Why Become an Imagination Celebration Site School?

Many schools do not have full-time fine arts educators, and the fortunate schools that do often share these educators with other schools within the district. Most schools have very limited annual arts budgets; therefore, any additional support or enrichment gives their students a wider variety of arts experiences and deeper connections to the different disciplines and media.

Imagination Celebration has a history of supporting educators, students and families by providing high quality, affordable performances at the Pikes Peak Center of national touring productions of children's theater.

Since 1989, we've provided educational materials to schools that bring students to these performances, offered scholarships to bring students from qualifying schools to the school group performances, presented professional development and other educational workshops for teachers, provided artists and performers to go into participating site schools, and have given K-12 grade students additional visual arts exhibition opportunities and recognition-outside of their own school community.
