What IF…DRAMA Is A Good Thing?!
Dates: July 28 – August 1 Time: 8:00AM – 5:00PM (with flexible pick up and drop off) Grades: K – 5 Fee: $250Throughout history the art of drama has been used to communicate tragedies, portray comical scenarios and even resolve conflict. We believe drama is an art that every child possesses and can use to his/her advantage in the classroom, with friends and family, and in the reflection process. This camp is explicit about teaching students critical thinking skills through improvisation, communication skills through pantomime, storytelling skills through tableaux and much more! Every child, regardless of experience with drama, will succeed in this camp. Introverts AND extroverts are welcome as we use abilities unique to each child to help him/her succeed with confidence, poise, and creativity.
To put theater into perspective for both students and parents, the final performance of the week will be developed by the students and directors of the camp. This culminating performance will demonstrate that DRAMA is in everyone’s life, and this drama is certainly a good thing.

Testimonials from Summer Camps, 2014
“I really liked how I was taught to show my emotions with my body in different ways. I loved the games, and how they taught me how to act without me knowing. On the first day I was nervous, and not sure I wanted to be at camp, but once I started to learn and make new friends I felt more comfortable. Every night I couldn’t wait for the next morning of camp! I was sad when camp ended, but happy with what I learned. I can’t wait to go to another camp!” ~Aiden
“I like not being shy anymore.” ~Alex
“Acting really brings out my personality. I like it a lot.” ~Dylan
“For as long as she can stay in this program, she will.” ~Parent
“I hope to keep him active with Imagination Celebration programs!” ~Parent
